The primary purpose of the TAR (Time and Attendance Recording) program is to capture and monitor all actual hours worked in compliance with the Collective Agreement for Seafarers and the minimum rest hours as per International Labor Organization (ILO) for each individual crewmember during an assignment on any vessel catered by SACS.

Regardless of what rank, position and department, all crew employed through South Asia Cruise Services Ltd and deployed on any of the Empress vessels are required to record their actual hours worked utilizing the time clock devices / tablets strategically placed throughout the vessel.
